The optical biometer is used to measure the human eye required to precisely calculate the power of an intraocular lens implanted into the eye. Compared to the classic ultrasound examination, the measurement is more precise, non-contact and does not require local anesthesia.

The use of a laser optical biometer will allow the examination to be performed even at a very advanced stage of the disease, where the diagnostic devices and methods used so far were not very precise.

The purchased equipment will be used at the hospital’s ophthalmology ward.

Purchase of an ultrasound machine with the Doppler function – the amount of the grant granted is PLN 147,000.00

The apparatus is used by the General and Vascular Surgery Clinic. The equipment will be used to perform tests mainly in patients with atherosclerotic lesions and embolic diseases and in suspected aneurysms.
