The Provincial Hospital in Bielsko-Biała is currently the largest and most modern hospital in the southern region of Poland.

It has in its structure:

Dialysis station with 18 dialysis stations

The operating block is the back-up for the hospital bed base. The block is equipped with laminar airflow and air conditioning. It consists of 6 operating theaters that meet modern equipment standards

Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
Fathers of children or patients' families may participate in deliveries. The department has rooms in the "rooming in" system, where mothers stay with their children

a modern Emergency Department equipped in accordance with the Act and Regulations of the Minister of Health on Medical Rescue

Imaging Diagnostics Department with the possibility of carrying out diagnostic tests on such equipment as: Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomograph, Devices for Classical and Digital X-ray Diagnostics, Ultrasound, Angiography and Lithotripsy

Laboratory Diagnostics Department with Quality Certificates and diagnostic laboratories in the field of general analytics and bacteriology, biochemistry, hematology, immunology, toxicology and serology

Rehabilitation Department offering a wide range of medical services in the field of physiotherapy. Movement improvements are carried out in groups as part of kinesiotherapy. The Rehabilitation Department also has a specialist exercise pool. Physical procedures are performed with the use of the latest generation devices, operated by qualified medical personnel

Central Sterilization with steam, gas and plasma sterilizers, ensuring a high degree of sterility of the medical equipment used

Laundry room with highly efficient, specialized laundry equipment, with three independent technological lines and using the latest washing technologies and chemicals recommended by the National Institute of Hygiene. All this guarantees that the sanitary and hygienic requirements are met, and especially that the clean linen does not come into contact with dirty linen

two parking lots - one for visitors, the other for employees - that can accommodate approx. 700 cars and a helipad, which, if necessary, can radically facilitate the transport of patients even from very distant areas for air ambulance units
