The Provincial Hospital started the implementation of the project entitled:
“REPAIR OF SEVEN WINDOWS ADAPTED FOR DISABLED PEOPLE IN THE EXISTING BUILDING OF THE VOIVODSHIP HOSPITAL IN BIELSKO – BIAŁA, UL. ARMII KRAJOWEJ 101, 43-316 BIELSKO – BIAŁA”
The project is co-financed by the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons and a special-purpose subsidy of the Śląskie Voivodeship.
There will be 7 lifts to be replaced: two in the building “C” and five in the cross-section “A-B”.
Modern lifts will be installed, made of stainless steel, faster, trouble-free with a modern call system and fully adapted to the transport of disabled people on wheelchairs. The new elevators will replace the heavily worn-out and emergency, over 18-year-old lifts, installed during the hospital construction project.
The cranes will have the option of emergency driving after the failure of the primary power supply to the basic stop and opening the door and emergency descent to the level of the escape route in the event of a fire alarm.
The lifts will be equipped with two possibilities of automatic notification of rescue teams and the monitoring department about the failure of the crane: an acoustic signal and a message on the LCD display.
The implementation of the task was divided into two stages: the first scope was launched in September 2016, ie the replacement of 2 elevators in the clinic and administration building C and the replacement of 1 lift in the “A-B” lacing building.
The second stage, ie the replacement of four elevator lifts in the “A-B” lacing, was moved to 2017.
